Helluva Boss gets a season 3 release window... and a tease of just how big its return is going to be

The long wait is almost over, with Prime Video revealing that Helluva Boss is definitively coming back this fall — but fans will have to wait a little longer to get the full third season in their hands thanks to a new release schedule for the show’s next outing.
Announced via social media, Prime Video revealed that Helluva Boss season 3 “is so big, it needed two parts.” The first part of the season will be released “this fall,” with part two coming at some undisclosed point in 2027.
The news isn’t entirely surprising; as early as June 2025, series creator Vivienne Medrano was publicly sharing that the show’s release schedule would change as it moved from YouTube to Prime Video: “We already wanted to release in batches instead of episode at a time, so now it's a matter of how big the batch and we lean towards a more traditional season approach due to the story,” she wrote. As to how big a batch…? 15 episodes, just as Medrano was already teasing back in 2024, which ups the count from season 1 (8 episodes) and season 2 (12 episodes)…
The fall 2026 announcement means that fans should get ready for more Helluva in the short term, as promotion for the new season ramps up. After all, the sneak peek in the post is just the start, surely.
