No, The Amazing Digital Circus's Michael Kovach won't flirt with you in character. He did enough of that with his Hazbin Hotel role

The Amazing Digital Circus cast has a great relationship with their fans. But as Jax himself points out, there are, you know, limits

"What's it like being a Tumblr sexyboy?"

That's a question that The Amazing Digital Circus star Michael Kovach has to answer on a daily basis, considering he plays CGI's rabbit-esque Jax on the megahit webseries. Despite Jax's distinctly non-human appearance, there's still a swath of the internet that consider him quite the catch, but as the voice actor behind the purple skin will tell you - there's no chance of digitally romancing this cartoon cutie.

The issue came up when Kovach joined his ADC costars on the Saberspark YouTube channel, during which he was literally asked the Tumblr sexyboy question that opens this piece. And while Kovach didn't exactly have an answer - who among us does, reader? - he was able to speak to what that status has brought upon him in the past.

"I don't really know," began Kovach, "It's funny because I constantly do see people say, 'Can you flirt with me as Jax?' I'm like, 'You're never going to get that.' I did plenty of that in my tenure as Angel Dust ,I'm not doing it anymore as Jax. You have to fight for it. Good luck."

Oh yeah - in case you didn't know, Kovach was the voice of Angel Dust in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, which aired on YouTube all the way back in 2019. If you're a latecomer to the VivziePop series, you might think of the character as voiced by Blake Roman. And that's true... after the pilot episode. But for Hazbin's first online outing, Angel Dust shared a voice with the actor who would be Jax... and continues to provide him some, uh, unforgettable experiences to this day.

The Amazing Digital Circus is streaming on YouTube now. Hazbin Hotel seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Prime Video.
