What's next for The Amazing Digital Circus cast after the episode 9 finale? A Dungeons & Dragons one-shot with Caine as the DM

The Amazing Digital Circus cast might be done in the recording booth, but if the cast has their way, there's a future for them at a TTRPG actual play table

What’s next for The Amazing Digital Circus cast? That’s the question on everybody’s minds after The Amazing Digital Circus episode 9, Remember, ended its historic theatrical run and finally, officially, appeared online. And while there are no plans from either GLITCH! Productions or creator Gooseworx to continue the story of Pomni, Jax, and the gang after this finale episode, the cast themselves are making the same kinds of future plans that so many of us nerds would if we suddenly had some free time.

That is, they’re setting up a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Plans for a D&D one-shot featuring The Amazing Digital Circus cast came up when the voice actors themselves appeared at LVL UP EXPO 2025. The topic came up after the show’s cast - specifically Lizzie Freeman, Michael Kovach, Amanda Hufford, and Alex Rochon - were asked about group activities outside of their then-busy recording schedule.

"Can I spoil the one thing we're planning?" said Freeman, who plays Pomni on the hit animated series. "We want to do a one-shot D&D with Alex [Rochon] as our DM."

Cue the applause form the audience.

"The difficulty as with anything D&D is scheduling," said would-be DM Rochon, "But I want to do a thing where Caine is the DM. I'm doing everything in character and everyone, all the players in the cast, are playing as their characters from Digital Circus trying (and probably failing) to roleplay in Caine's crappy adventure. I hope we end up doing that."

"Oh, we will," said Hufford, AKA Ragatha, "We will."

"We'll find a way," agreed Kovach, who plays Jax.

"Once this is over," Rochon said, "I'll give everyone a nudge again and see what everyone's plans are like in... June? July? August?"

Remember, Digital Circus fans, this panel was recorded in 2025. So that window Alex is talking about is... well, it's right about now. Let's keep our fingers crossed for an announcement soon.

The Amazing Digital Circus is streaming on YouTube now.
