Evil Dead Burn has one simple ambition: to change the way you look at your dishwasher
The latest household object to take center stage in an Evil Dead movie is Evil Dead Burn's dishwasher

Just in time for summer vacation season, Evil Dead Burn is headed to theatres to give us all a family reunion from hell. And if you've seen Lee Cronin's Evil Dead Rise, you'd know that it wouldn't be an Evil Dead movie without a common household object or appliance being turned into a vessel of carnage. In Evil Dead Rise, it was the humble cheesegrater. In Evil Dead Burn, it's going to be a dishwasher in need of being unloaded.
In an interview with Empire, Evil Dead Burn director Sebastien Vaniček put his enthusiasm about one of the film's marquee scares in plain terms: "I really want the audience to feel different when they use their dishwasher after watching the movie." If you haven't seen the trailer for Evil Dead Burn that shows a snippet of the dishwasher scare, watch below. The dishwasher bit is at the end of the trailer.
If you live with someone who is loath to unload the dishwasher, then Evil Dead Burn is the perfect film to take them to. Perhaps the most demonic thing in the film is not any of the Deadites, but rather the fact that someone left an unloaded dishwasher door open in the middle of the kitchen. Absolutely cursed behavior that will haunt my nightmares.
Evil Dead Burn will rush into theaters on July 10, 2026.
