The Hawk release date: when does Will Ferrell's golf comedy hit Netflix?

We're all familiar with golf movies, but what about golf shows? How many TV shows can you name that involve golf? Personally, I can't name a whole lot, but one of them I can name is the upcoming Will Ferrell comedy series, The Hawk, on Netflix. So let's get to it.
The Hawk release date July 16, 2026 on Netflix. The show is executive produced by Will Ferrell along with Rian Johnson (!) and David Gordon Green (the director of the 2018 Halloween), among many others. Ferrell is joined in the cast by Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, and David Hornsby. Take a look at the trailer below.
Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen Will Ferrell in a sports comedy. But obviously, Will Ferrell is now in a much different phase of life than he was when he was in Blades of Glory nearly twenty years ago, and presumably, his comedic prowess has grown since then. Already from the trailer, we get some promising glimpses of all of the unusual tan lines that only golfers get. So we'll see how it all shakes out.
The Hawk will be released on July 16, 2026 on Netflix.
