The proud convention tradition of buying so much stuff that your suitcase becomes a structural hazard is beginning early this year. This year, ahead of the four-day blitz on the Javits Center and my wallet that is New York Comic Con 2026, ReedPop and Popverse are setting up a way to pre-order select NYCC merch now to avoid the stress and uncertainty on if (and when) you'll get it. And for our Popverse Superfans and NYCC VIPs, we're giving you a 48-hour head start to make sure you buy what you want first thing.

The 48-hour early access to pre-order select official New York Comic Con merch for Popverse Superfans and NYCC VIPs will begin Monday, September 14 at 12:00 PM E.T. and go through Wednesday, September 16 at 12:00 PM E.T.. Whatever is left will open up for a general pre-order sale to all NYCC 2026 ticketholders after that. That gives Superfans and VIPs a full 48 hours to shop before everyone else arrives to begin clicking with the speed and determination usually reserved for the NYCC show floor... but doing it from your home or phone.

But remember, this is pre-ordering for on-site pickup. There's no shipping involved here, unless you're shipping a romance between the Crystal Palace T-Shirt and the Phone Lanyard.

NYCC 2026 merch pre-order pre-sale reveals

Even better, Popverse can exclusively reveal several of the new NYCC 2026 items that will be available, including a Crystal Palace T-shirt celebrating the convention’s Javits Center home, a Cat Clown sweatshirt that raises more questions than it answers, and a tiny ghost water bottle ready to haunt your convention bag.

Not every piece of NYCC 2026 merchandise will be available to pre-order. A broader selection of apparel, accessories, collectibles, and other objects you definitely have room for at home will be sold at the NYCC Official Show Store at Booth #4505 during the convention.

How NYCC Superfans can pre-order merchandise

Current Popverse Superfans can access the NYCC 2026 merchandise pre-order through the NYCC app beginning September 14 at noon ET. At that time, open the app and navigate to the NYCC Official Show Store’s 'Pre-Order NYCC Merch' section. You’ll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Superfan account and your subscription ID number.

If you don’t have that number memorized (and, honestly, it would be slightly concerning if you did) log into Popverse, select 'My Account,' and then select 'Subscriptions.' Once your account has been verified, you can browse the available merchandise and complete your purchase.

Superfan early access ends when ordering opens to all NYCC 2026 ticket holders on September 16 at 12:00 PM ET.

How NYCC 2026 VIP ticket holders can pre-order merchandise

NYCC 2026 VIP ticket holders also receive pre-order access beginning September 14 at noon ET. VIPs will need to enter their email address and the 14-digit badge number printed on the back of their badge. Fourteen digits may sound excessive, but this is New York Comic Con. Everything is bigger, including the numbers on your badge.

If someone else purchased your VIP ticket for you, the ticket must first be transferred to your email address and accepted through 'My Tickets.' You won’t be able to access the VIP pre-order until the transfer is complete, so this is the moment to politely bother whichever friend, relative, or mysterious benefactor bought your ticket.

Where to pick up your NYCC 2026 merchandise

Here’s the very important part: This is a pre-order and in-person pickup program. Your NYCC merchandise will not be shipped to you, no matter how nicely you ask the app. 

All pre-ordered items must be collected at Booth #4600 during New York Comic Con, taking place October 8–11, 2026 at the Javits Center. You’ll need a valid NYCC 2026 badge to collect your order, because 'I promise I bought a ghost bottle' is not a valid form of identification.

All pre-orders must be picked up by Sunday, October 11 at 1:00 PM ET. Merchandise left unclaimed after that deadline will not be shipped or refunded. Set an alarm, write it on your hand, or ask the Cat Clown to remind you; just don’t leave the Javits Center without your order.

Be aware: There will be two NYCC Official Show Store booths at New York Comic Con 2026 because there's so much, but Booth #4600 is where you pick up merchandise pre-ordered through the NYCC app. Booth #4505 is the NYCC Official Show Store, where attendees can shop the broader merchandise selection during the convention. Mixing up these two booth numbers will send you on an unnecessary convention side quest.
