The Boys is the smash-hit (emphasis on smash) superhero satire that veers a little too close to reality for comfort. Based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson and developed for television by Eric Kripke, The Boys is coming to a close with season 5. So, when can you expect the release date for The Boys Season 5 to arrive on Prime Video?

The Boys Season 5 release date is April 8, 2026 on Prime Video. It has been a little less than a year since the show's previous season concluded on July 18, 2026. The Boys Season 5 will be eight episodes long, and the first two episodes of the season will debut on April 8, 2026. As I'm sure you're already aware, there are plenty of upcoming TV and streaming release dates for you to keep track of in 2026. Here's the official teaser trailer for The Boys Season 5:

The fifth and final season of The Boys will feature the return of myriad members of the series' ensemble cast. These include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jensen Ackles. In addition, The Boys Season 5 will also add Daveed Diggs to the cast.

The release date for the premiere of The Boys Season 5 on Prime Video is April 8, 2026.
