Krapopolis Season 4: Release date, timeslot, cast and that Zeus-sized cliffhanger
The series was created by Rick & Morty's Dan Harmon and stars Richard Ayoade

Created by Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty) and set in Ancient Greece, Krapopolis is set in one of the very first cities on Earth. When the Krapopolis Season 3 finale, "Advanced Family Portraiture," debuted on April 19th, 2026, fans of the series were left asking whether the show would be returning for Season 4. Fortunately we can confirm that Fox has already renewed the series for both Season 4 and Season 5, and you can expect the next season to begin in early 2027.
Krapopolis stars Richard Ayoade in the role of Tyrannis, the demigod king of the titular city. Tyrannis is son to Shlub (Matt Berry) and Deliria (Hannah Waddingham), and half-brother to inventor Hippocampus (Duncan Trussell) and Stupendous (Pam Murphy), the head of the Krapopolis military. The series also has a plethora of recurring and guest star characters, with a cast that includes more than its fair share of voice acting legends and Community alums.
The conclusion of the third season saw some major status quo shakeups in Krapopolis. Zeus (Richard Kind) was awakened from his vegetative state and woke up quite grumpy, firing one of his lightning bolts at Shlub. Just how these "shocking" (get it) events will play out remains to be seen. But in the meantime, here's a clip from Krapopolis Season 3:
Krapopolis Season 4 is slated to release in early 2027, most likely in January alongside the other Animation Domination shows being held back for mid-season debuts. The series typically airs on Fox on Sunday at 9pm Eastern and Pacific, 8pm Central.
