But with the sheer amount of Spider-Man comics, toys, and merch out there, what should you get for the Spider-Man fans in your life? Don't worry, we've compiled a list of the very best Spider-Man comics and related gifts for you to sift through like you're looking for Sandman on Jones Beach.

Quick Picks

The Best Gifts for Spider-Man Fans

1. Kraven's Last Hunt

Why it's a great gift: Behold: the greatest Spider-Man story ever told. Okay, that's subjective, but Kraven's Last Hunt has had an enormous impact on both Spider-Man comics and American comics at large because of its mature and psychological storyline. It takes place during a time when Peter Parker was in his emo era with the black Spider-Man suit, and it digs into how being Spider-Man drives a wedge between him and his love, Mary Jane Watson, while fueling an obsession that one of his longtime enemies, Kraven the Hunter, has with him. The story explores the psycho-emotional experience of getting dressed up in an outlandish costume every night, taking a refreshingly human approach to comic book characters. There's also a William Blake poem that is heavily featured in the main story included in this collection. If you want the budget version of Kraven's Last Hunt (that includes just the issues from the original storyline, you can get it here).

Long story short, if you don't believe that comics are literature after reading Kraven's Last Hunt, then you didn't actually read it.

Best For: Black suit Spider-Man fans or millennial and Gen Z Spidey fans

2. Spider-Man & Venom: Double Trouble

Why it's a great gift: The Double Trouble series of middle-grade graphic novels is a delightful, age-appropriate option for all of your favorite Marvel characters. There aren't a whole lot of kid-friendly Venom stories out there, and this story leans into the unique dynamic between Spidey and Venom, with a cute twist thanks to the delightful art.

Best for: Kids who love Spider-Man and Venom who want to read comics

3. Gamegenic Magic: The Gathering Marvel's Spider-Man card binder

Why it's a great gift: If you've got a loved one who's gotten into Magic: The Gathering because of the recent Marvel's Spider-Man or Marvel Super Heroes sets, chances are they're going to need a binder to keep all of their valuable cards safe. Speaking for myself, a hidden cost of card games is card storage. And out of all the card storage brands on the market today, Gamegenic makes my favorite supplies because they're both stylish and practical. I have this same binder, and it's served me well, whether I'm traveling cross-country or traveling locally to show my friends some new cards I got.

Best for: Magic: The Gathering Spider-Man fans.

4. Spider-Man Pointing Meme Doormat

Why it's a great gift: The Spider-Man pointing meme may be ubiquitous today, especially at comic con whenever multiple Spider-Man cosplayers assemble in the same place. But putting the meme into a doormat form is unexpected and, dare I say, hilarious. On a more serious note, I appreciate how the Spideys on the doormat are staggered on the mat itself. Meaning, when you wipe your feet off before entering your home, you won't be directly scratching off the Spider-Man art.

Best for: Spider-Man fans

5. Daily Bugle Spider-Man LEGO Set

The Spider-Man Daily Bugle LEGO set

Why it's a great gift: The Daily Bugle LEGO set is the ultimate "go big or go home" Spider-Man gift. This thing is huge - I'm talking "tempting-your-cat-to-knock-it-over-in-a-Willem-Dafoe's-Green-Goblin-voice" huge. It's the priciest pick on our list at $349 at this time of writing, but it comes with 25 minifigures showcasing the very best of Spidey's rogues gallery, plus all your favorite Spider-Man allies, including the Man Without Fear himself, Daredevil! We're also a fan of how the different stories of the building are detachable, meaning there are endless ways to customize how you want to display your own Daily Bugle in your home or office. I've seen this fully constructed set in person and can confirm that it is an impressive centerpiece for any LEGO devotee.

Best for: LEGO fans

6. Ultimate Spider-Man vol. 1 by Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto

Why it's a great gift: You can't go wrong with Ultimate Spider-Man by Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto. It's one of the most critically acclaimed Spider-Man comics of the decade, and since it's set in an alternate universe, it requires absolutely no previous comic book knowledge to enjoy it. It's set in Marvel's Ultimate Universe, where Peter Parker is a middle-aged family man who subsequently becomes Spider-Man. It's a grown-up (but not dark or gratuitous) take on Spider-Man that will please longtime Spider-Man fans who are looking to get back into comics.

Best for: Comic book newbies

7. The Superior Spider-Man Omnibus vol. 1

Look, everyone and their mom knows Spider-Man, but The Superior Spider-Man series by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos is Spider-Man as you've never seen him before, because freaking Doctor Octopus takes over Peter Parker's body and becomes Spider-Man. Yes, you read that right: the Alfred Molina character from Spider-Man 2 with the goggles and mechanical arms coming out of his back becomes Spider-Man. And he uses his newfound great power to try to one-up Peter Parker at every turn. The Superior Spider-Man series is a rare example of big, creative swings that manage to stick the landing, and having it in omnibus form brings some serious street cred. If you've got a Spider-Man fan who thinks they've seen and read it all, then they ain't seen Superior Spider-Man yet.

Best for: Spider-Man fans who think they've seen it all

8. Miles Morales: Spider-Man Vol. 1 Trial by Spider

It wouldn't be a proper Spider-Man gift guide without a proper Miles Morales recommendation, and we've got you covered. The Miles Morales: Spider-Man series written by Cody Ziglar is the character's strongest run yet because of how Ziglar deepens the hero's relationships with his friends and family. There are some very comic book-y elements to this series, but they're emotionally grounded within human reality, which is quintessential for any great Marvel story. Plus, if the person you're getting this for loves this series and wants more, there are plenty more volumes for them to check out.

Best for: Miles Morales fans

9. LEGO Iron Spider Spider-Man Bust

A more affordable LEGO Spider-Man set is this Iron Spider bust, featuring the costume that Tom Holland's Spider-Man wears in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. What's extra cool about this set is that the head is movable, allowing you to pose Spidey's head in whichever direction you'd like. We love how this set has a smaller footprint than, say, the massive Daily Bugle set, making it a great fit for any bookshelf.

Best for: MCU fans
