We’re just still waiting for the next season of the Black Clover anime, but the manga has some big news for fans. We’re less than a few days away from the final chapters being released in Japan, which means we have precious little time to catch up before the Black Clover manga comes to an end.

We already know that the new season of Black Clover is set to air sometime in 2026 – though, due to its continuous release schedule from 2017 to 2020, whether it is Season 2 or Season 4 depends on who you ask – but it looks like the source material will come to an end. Shueisha announced that the Black Clover manga is ending on May 1, 2026 with three new chapters to be published in their Jump Giga magazine. The announcement was made during the Jump Press stream on April 27, 2026.

Black Clover was originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump when it started in 2015. However, it switched to Jump Giga in 2023 shortly after its Final Saga began in August 2022. This allowed creator Yuki Tabata to release chapters at a more controlled pace, since Jump Giga is published every three months instead of every week.

The Black Clover final chapters will be published in the May edition of Jump Giga and should appear on the Viz Media website and the Shonen Jump app shortly after they are published in Japan. With the announcement, it appears that Black Clover chapters 390, 391, and 392 will mark the end of this incredibly popular manga.
