What to Watch November 2025: Stranger Things' long-awaited season 5 comes to Netflix, Apple TV+ brings A-listers to Pluribus, Critical Role's The Mighty Nein debuts on Prime Video, and more

Plus: more Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu, Landman season 2 on Paramount+, and a new take on Les Liaisons Dangereuses coming to HBO Max

If you're a regular around these parts, you might have noticed we published a Best TV of 2025 list just a little while back. You'll also probably recall that we added a very clear "So Far" to the title of that piece, because we figured that the streaming gods weren't quite done blessing us by, what, the second week of September? And it's a good thing we did too, as we're about to prove.

See, the penultimate month of this very long year has something for everyone, but since that fact isn't very useful for specific streaming taste, we've put together this little list of What to Watch November 2025, to help guide you through what could very well be some of the biggest hits of the year, despite the fact that they're showing up just as it's winding down. Sit back and enjoy.

What's streaming on Netflix in November 2025

As the header image of this article suggests, the biggest thing coming to Netflix next month is absolutely the final season of Stranger Things. However, we're not gonna let the Hawkins kids have all the fun. Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein begins streaming weeks before that, and there's another season of the reality competition Squid Game: The Challenge for folks who both a.) need their Squid Game fix and b.) inherently misunderstand Squid Game. Check out the full list below.

What's streaming on Amazon Prime Video in November 2025

It feels like we've been writing about the upcoming animated adaptation of Critical Role's Campaign 2 - that is, The Mighty Nein - for years now. Not that we're complaining. Any story about jester Lavorre is a story we're thrilled to write. But very soon, we won't be writing about the series in the future tense anymore, as the sure-to-be-beloved animated fantasy adventure finally lands on Amazon's streaming service, along with the following highlights,

Title Streaming Date Type
Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, season 2 November 7 Live-action series

What's streaming on HBO Max in November 2025

You might not be familiar with a title called The Seduction, but odds are you've heard of a little story called Les Liaisons Dangereuses. And if you're an HBO Max subscriber, we have great news - the two are one in the same (except of course that the latter is the most recent adaptation of the former). Fans of period drama and forbidden romance have something great coming their way in this series, along with some further options listed here.

Title Streaming Date Type
I Love LA, season 1 November 2 Live-action series
Alex vs. Arod, season 1 November 6 Docuseries
Angela Diniz: Murdered and Convicted, season 1 November 13 Live-action series
The Seduction, season 1 November 14 Live-action series

What's streaming on Hulu in November 2025

Speaking of scandalous stories, your favorite Utah housewives are back for another round in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, season 3, which promises to deal with the fallout of the casts' increasing fame (or is it infamy?) outside the community. For fans of fictional drama, Hulu's also offering the brand new legal series All's Fair, produced by Ryan Murphy and starring Glenn Close.

Title Streaming Date Type
All's Fair, season 1 November 4 Live-action series
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, season 3 November 13 Reality series

What's streaming on Paramount+ in November 2025

And while we're on the subject of major names in the TV space, Billy Bob Thornton is taking a break from those fascinating T-Mobile ads to return as oil exec Tommy Noris in the sophomore season of Taylor Sheridan's tale of guts and greed, Landman. Let's just hope he doesn't stay away from those T-Mobile ads for too long; I need to hear him translate what the eggheads told him about 5G.

Title Streaming Date Type
Crutch, season 1 November 3 Live-action series
Landman, season 2 November 16 Live-action series

What's streaming on Disney+ in November 2025

As of this writing, there's only one confirmed streaming release for Dinsey+, but boy howdy is it a big one. The Taylor Swift docuseries The End of an Era has found a home on streaming, and we have to imagine more than a few Swifties will be signing up for a Disney+ account in order to watch it. As if they don't already know absolutely everything about that tour anyways.

Title Streaming Date Type
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The End of an Era, season 1 November 12 Docuseries

What's coming to Peacock in November 2025

As a genuine nerd for theme park rides, I'll be sitting back and enjoying Epic Ride this November, the documentary series that explores Universal Theme Park's history. However, I know that longtime fans of teen draam Bel-Air are probably more excited for the fourth season of the show to debut at the end of the month, though the fact that it will also be the final season is bound to make the experience a bittersweet one.

Title Streaming Date Type
All Her Fault, season 1 November 6 Live-action series
Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Park, season 1 November 17 Docuseries
Bel-Air, season 4 November 24 Live-action series

What's coming to Apple TV+ in November 2025

And finally, I'm going to close out this list by predicting that the series everyone will be talking about come December is actually Apple TV's Pluribus. Yes, I think it's gonna be bigger that Stranger Things. Why? Well, it's probably that it's a relevant science fiction thriller coming from the House of Severance, helmed by Breaking Bad co-creator Vince Gilligan and starring Better Call Saul breakout star Rhea Seehorn.

Also? I signed up for the show's eerie AR-marketing gimmick and I think I might get in trouble if I don't say this.

Title Streaming Date Type
Pluribus, season 1 November 7 Live-action series
Palm Royal, season 2 November 12 Live-action series
WondLa, season 3 November 26 Live-action series
Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age, season 1 November 26 Docuseries

That's all the major streaming movies and TV shows on our radar right now, but we'll be updating this list as more information becomes available. For those updates, and for all you need to know about the future of streaming, keep an eye on Popverse.

Grant DeArmitt: Grant DeArmitt (he/him) likes horror, comics, and the unholy union of the two. In the past, and despite their better judgment, he has written for Nightmare on Film Street and Newsarama. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, Kingsley, and corgi, Legs.
