What's it like to be a werewolf on the set of Wednesday season 2? A new Netflix cast member has the answer
Making real werewolf transformations happen is as easy as checking your lunar calendar - the cast and crew of Netflix's Wednesday had to work a little harder, says newcomer Noah Taylor

While we've already gotten s taste of werewolfism from Netflix's Wednesday season 1 - Wednesday's best pal Enid Sinclair was one, remember? - it looks like the Addams Family riff is going to be taking us a little deeper into the pack with its upcoming season 2. In particular, the show will be introducing us to one Bruno, a werewolf and student of the show's Nevermore Academy for the supernaturally distinct. Ahead of season 2's release, Popverse got the chance to sit down with the actor that plays Bruno, that is, Noah Taylor, and ask about what it was like crafting a werewolf on set.
"A lot of the work that made me look like a werewolf," says Taylor, "Happened in costuming, hair and makeup. Everything from my hairstyle to the way they shaped my eyebrows played a part. A lot of the costumes I got to wear had subtle furlike or hairy textures on them which was really cool."
However, the actor revealed that when it came to actually filming the creature in full wolf-form, he took a step back to let the motion-capture pros on set to their thing.
"I personally didn’t do a lot of work with motion capture," the actor tells Popverse, "But I got to see some other actors work with it which was super fascinating to watch. Physicality is one of my favorite parts of acting and it’s always incredible to watch actors translate it through motion capture."
Oh, and one last thing - considering the fact that the actor has a 'Taylor' in his name and will be seen as a lycanthrope once Wednesday season 2 drops, we just had to know if there were any Twilight jokes on set.
"There were definitely a couple at the start of shooting," says Nevermore's newest heartthrob, "My friends and family are still making werewolf jokes and I have a lot of fun leaning into it."
Season 2 part 1 of Wednesday will be released on Netflix on August 6, with part 2 of the season coming September 3.
