Smallville was a superhero show that redefined the genre. There's a direct line in pop culture from Superman: The Movie through Smallville into the Arrowverse which, for years, carried the baton for DC Comics heroes on television. Lois Lane is easily the most beloved character to emerge from Smallville thanks in no small part to the performance of Erica Durance. Durance also enjoyed a stint in the Arrowverse appearing as Allura on Supergirl and a superhero in the real world as Dr. Alex Reid on Saving Hope.

Popverse’s Ashley V. Robinson was fortunate enough to sit down virtually with superstar actor Erica Durance to talk all things super and acting.

"One of the things that people will start with is: 'Hey, this is something me and my family did together," Durance told Popverse about the legacy she carries from Smallville to the convention floor today. “It was something that brought us together. Family. Parents. Kids. Whatever. And it was something that they looked forard to.”
