Matthew Vaughn's upcoming movie Argylle has spurred on a whole lot of conversation. From the mystery behind the mysterious "author" of the book Elly Conway (who also happens to be played by Bryce Dallas Howard on the screen) to that trailer with a strange tone, many people just don't know what to make of the whole thing.
Then there's the Agent Argylle bit. Who is Agent Argylle? For a while, it looked like the marketing was pointing for the Agent to be fairly obvious Henry Cavill (who played a gentleman thief turned spy in the stylish Man from U.N.C.L.E), but it's looking like that nugget may be a red herring too.
So who is Agent Argylle? We certainly don't know. It can be Henry Cavill sure, but cast member Dua Lipa's name has been bandied about, and Popverse contributor Fran Ruiz thinks it may be Bryce Dallas Howard's Elly Conway herself. There's even been talks - though let's be real - of Taylor Swift.

Henry Cavill's meta-spy thriller Argylle was interesting ... until I saw that trailer
