If you’re impatiently waiting for the final season of Yellowstone to come out later this year, Kevin Costner is ready to fill the Western-shaped void in your heart. He has a new Western film franchise coming out this summer, with four entries in the Horizon: An American Saga series coming to the big screen. Here is what we know about the release dates for Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga films.

Kevin Costner has clearly decided to park himself firmly in the Western genre and doesn’t plan to move anytime soon. Even with his time on Yellowstone set to wrap up soon, he isn’t moving on to greener pastures just yet. Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 is set to land in cinemas on June 28, 2024. As the subtitle would imply, more of the series is expected, with Chapter 2 set to be released shortly after.

Here are the known entries in the Horizon: An American Saga series and when they are expected to be released:

  • Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 – June 28, 2024
  • Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2 – August 16, 2024
  • Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 3 – Unknown release date
  • Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 4 – Unknown release date

Chapter 3 is reportedly already in production, so we may not have to wait long to see it on the big screen. With at least four films planned in the Horizon: An American Saga series, it looks like Costner is content to stay saddled in the Western genre for the foreseeable future.

Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 is due in cinemas on June 28, 2024 while Chapter 2 is expected to follow shortly after on August 16, 2024. Future entries in the franchise are in production but don’t have release dates yet.
