Matt Damon & George Clooney are part of a celebrity Wordle network
In real life, Ocean's Eleven costars Damon and Clooney don't plan museum heists. They do, however, keep each other sharp in a much more legal way

Looks, talent, and now brain. Dammit George Clooney, can't you leave something for the rest of us to have?
Yes, folks, Ocean's Eleven star Clooney is apparently great even when it comes to your favorite New York Times minigame, Wordle. In a recent interview with Variety, the Hollywood A-lister revealed that he was in a Wordle group alongside fellow Ocean's actor (and another Hollywood A-lister) himself, Matt Damon.
And the way Damon tells it, Clooney mops the floor with the rest of the puzzle crew.
"George is frustratingly good at it," The Odyssey star told Variety for a career retrospective with Clooney at the center, and he's apparently had plenty of opportunites to prove that fact. The group, which has dubbed itself Nerdle, do a reported three puzzles a day, then add up their scores to determine a winner every single night. Most times, it seems, that winner is Michael Clayton himself.
Ah well, at least us common folk can still imagine ourselves going toe-to-toe with Hollywood's most golden of silver foxes in a game of Spelling Bee, right?
Right?
