Poll: What's your favorite Hayao Miyazaki movie?
Vote for your fave!
Hayao Miyazaki's name has become synonymous with the best of animation. Over a career that spans sixty years (with fifty of those years as director of animated films), Miyazaki has changed the face of his field with seminal movies like Ponyo, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle - and he's not done yet. Boy and the Heron hits screens in the United States in December (Buy tickets on Fandango or Atom Tickets), and though Miyazaki has announced his retirement from animation quite a few times before, he's announced once again that this will not be his last movie.
With Boy and the Heron hitting theaters soon, and Miyazaki ready for more, now is the perfect time to take a look back at Miyazaki's full oevre. One way of doing that is seeing which moves Popverse readers love the most from Miyazaki's long career. So vote below and let us know what your all-time favorite Hayao Miyazaki directed film is. And if you want to back up your answer - leave a comment.
