Summer wouldn’t be complete without a trip down to Southern California for San Diego Comic-Con, and now we can help you plan your getaway plans for next year with the announcement of the dates for San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

As is traditional, SDCC 2026 will take place in the back half of July, with the dates being July 22 through July 26. Those dates include the traditional Wednesday ‘Preview Night,’ in addition to the four full days of the show proper. As always Preview Night is only available to those who have 4-day badges for the show, as well as any professional attending; all the more reason to try and get a 4-day pass as quickly as possible, really.

For the first time in three years, the show will not coincide with a major Marvel movie release — instead, the next installment of the MCU will arrive in theaters just days later, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day released July 31, 2026. If that doesn’t sound like a reason for Marvel Studios to triumphantly return to Hall H after skipping the show in 2025, I don’t know what would… well, except for the fact that Avengers: Doomsday will be just five months away at that point, of course.

Is San Diego Comic-Con 2026 sold out?

The good news is that you can still get tickets for San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The bad news is, you can’t get them just yet; tickets for the 2026 show won’t officially go on sale until October 4- and thats for returning fans only. The general onsale is scheduled for November 15. And if experience has anything to say, they’ll sell out very very quickly.

What celebrities will be at San Diego Comic-Con 2026?

The guest list for Comic-Con International 2026 in San Diego hasn’t been announced, as of writing. Traditionally, the first guest announcements for the show around March or April preceding the show, with a more complete line-up (and panels) arriving around two weeks before the show itself.

Where will SDCC 2026 be hosted?

As has become tradition by this point, 2026’s Comic-Con International in San Diego will take place at the San Diego Convention Center and surrounding areas. While no programming details are known about the 2026 show just yet, it’s almost guaranteed that the show will also include programming in the nearby hotels — in particular the Hilton San Diego Bayfront’s Indigo Ballroom — with additional related events taking place around the city’s Gaslamp district.

How long will Comic-Con stay in San Diego?

As of writing, San Diego Comic-Con has a deal with the City of San Diego through the year 2026, although an announcement on the future of the show beyond that is anticipated imminently.
