Lord of the Rings' John Rhys-Davies hijacks our interview to talk Shakespeare, James Bond, and LotR (of course!) [Popversations]
John Rhys-Davies, who you might know as Gimli from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, schools us on how to be a gentleman actor at C2E2

There's a John Rhys-Davies role for everyone. Whether it's Sallah in Raiders of the Lost Ark, one General Leonid Pushkin in the James Bond film The Living Daylights, the voice of the Brine King in Aquaman, or of course, Gimli from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, Rhys-Davies has it covered. But, there is so much more to this beloved actor than meets the eye. He even took the reins himself during our interview and asked himself a series of questions.
In this edition of Popversations, we sat down with John Rhys-Davies at C2E2 to talk about his dream Shakespeare roles, the differences between voice acting and acting on set, and his collection of knitted Gimli dolls given to him by fans. You can check it out below.
