For the final season of You, the Netflix show is returning to the city where it all began: New York. This time, however Joe Goldberg is living a much different life. In a city as big as New York, there are practically cities within cities, all of which are determined by the people you know, and the circles you walk in. For Joe in season 5, he's operating within the upper echelons of New York society.

Netflix has released a trailer for season 5 of You, giving us a glimpse at what lies ahead for Joe. Spoiler alert: it's not all good. Despite being married to Kate and fulfilling his responsibilities as a parent to his young son Henry, Joe sets his sights on a redhead named Bronte. But why are we surprised in the first place? This is You after all, and Joe is a mess (and a murderer).

Some particularly juicy bits from the season 5 trailer are shots of a newspaper with Joe's face on the front page. The headline asks, "Humanitarian or Homicidal Maniac?" We ask, "Why can't two things be true at once?" The guy is a billionaire after all, come on. 

Anyways, the new season begins streaming on Netflix on April 24, 2025. That's the day after Shakespeare's birthday, by the way, which is something Joe might take notice of. Until then, you have time to brush up on your Emily Dickinson.
