The Wonder Man show from Marvel Studios is all about how difficult it is to make a career in Hollywood. As you might imagine, the Disney+ series is a meta examination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So it's only fitting that Destin Daniel Cretton, the director and creator of the Wonder Man series, would take us behind the scenes of the upcoming MCU show.

Destin Daniel Cretton shared two new videos on his Instagram that he filmed for his 8-year-old child's career day at school. In the first video, Cretton arrives on set at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Nature Center in Los Angeles - a filming location that has been used in projects like Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, various Star Trek shows, and the music video for ON by BTS. Cretton's video shows glimpses of a sequence filmed for "the first Wonder Man movie" that's featured in the show, where actor Dane Larsen is suited up as the MCU's first cinematic Wonder Man.

In the second video, Cretton speaks with Christy Tagatac, head of the hair department on the show, along with Gary Marcus, the show's first assistant director. Addressing Cretton's child's class, Marcus offers some encouraging words for any aspiring young filmmakers: "Dream big, and it'll happen for all of you."

It's a sentiment that seems fitting for the Wonder Man show as a whole. All 8 episodes of the series will drop tomorrow, January 27, 2026 on Disney+.
