Lady Gaga was "reserved" on the set of Wednesday season 2, but star Jenna Ortega said she always acted with "kindness and generosity"
Wednesday is due back on Netflix in 2025, so we won't have to wait long to find out why Jenna Ortega is so keen on working with Lady Gaga.

The cast of Wednesday season two keeps on growing, with Lady Gaga joining Jenna Ortega, Christopher Lloyd, and Steve Buscemi when the Netflix series returns later this year. The addition of Gaga to the Wednesday cast was a little surprising to many fans, but it made filming an absolute delight for Ortega, who had high praise for her popstar-turned-actor castmate.
“It’s the best. She’s the best, definitely one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with,” Jenna Ortega said about Lady Gaga’s time on the Wednesday season two set. “It was just a really, really special environment to be there with her and Tim [Burton], two people that I respect and have been inspired by so much.”
It wasn’t just Lady Gaga’s talent and acting that brought such joy to Jenna Ortega’s time on set; it was her heart as well. “Then just finding out that she’s such a sweetheart and really kind and reserved, it’s very strange,” she continued. “I love that you never know what to expect from her, but you can always expect kindness and generosity.”
The idea of Lady Gaga being “reserved” is a bit of a surprise, but it is genuinely heartwarming to hear such kind words about someone with such a high profile. It is easy to be cynical about celebrities, especially when they are so prone to let you down, but we honestly hope that everything Jenna Ortega said about Lady Gaga is true and that it shines through when we finally see Wednesday season two sometime in 2025.
