Known as the creator of Girls on HBO, Dunham's upcoming foray onto the small screen stars Will Sharpe and Megan Stalter. Plus, you can expect to see some of Britain's biggest actors, as well.

Lena Dunham's Too Much season 1 arrives for streaming on Netflix on July 10, 2025. The first season has ten episodes, and all of them will drop on the same day. So, pack your bags and prepare for bingeing if you want to experience the whole season as quickly as possible! This summer will be filled with more show releases than you can shake a boarding pass at, so book your trip accordingly. Here's a trailer to whet your appetite for the romantic adventure: 

Too Much season 1 follows Jessica (Statler), an American woman who finds her romantic life in the gutter. Eager for a fresh start, she heads to the land of classic romantic stories like "British Jones's Diary": London. In addition to the leads, the show will feature heavy hitters like Richard E. Grant, Rhea Perlman, Stephen Fry and Andrew Scott. Plus, the romance isn't limited to the onscreen story. The series is executive produced by wife and husband team Dunham and Luis Felber. While Dunham directs and does the majority of the writing, Felber contributes to the writing and provides original music.
