2025 is going to be a big year for Noah Centineo and his Netflix shows. In addition to season 2 of The Recruit, the actor is also going to make an appearance in season 2 of the To All The Boys spinoff, XO, Kitty. There’s lots going on! In case you need a refresher, on The Recruit, Centineo plays a lawyer in the CIA named Owen Hendricks. Season 1 of the show was released at the tail end of 2022, making The Recruit’s sophomore season a couple years in the making.

Season 2 of The Recruit will release on Netflix on January 30, 2025. This time, his activities in the CIA bring him to South Korea. He will partner up with a local intelligence agent named Jang Kyun, played by Teo Yoon (who starred in Celine Song’s film, Past Lives). Guy Gardner himself, Nathan Fillion, returns to play Alton West, director of the CIA.

It is unclear at this time how many episodes The Recruit season will consist of. But season 1 was 10 episodes in total, so it’s probable that season 2 will hover around that same number. The events of season 2 will pick up off the cliffhanger ending of season 1, so if you’ve been looking for some closure, this is your time.

Season 2 of The Recruit will premiere on Netflix on January 30, 2025.
