Based on the novel by Sally Hepworth, the show follows Isabelle (Teresa Palmer), a woman who moves into a new cul-de-sac and immediately becomes suspicious of four neighboring families. The series has a North American release date on Acorn TV this spring. So when can you expect to see The Family Next Door?

The Family Next Door release date is February 23, 2026 on Acorn TV. The series originally debuted in Australia on the Australian Broadcasting Channel (ABC) on August 10, 2025, so eager viewers in the United States and Canada haven't had to wait too long for the show to be released on our shores. The Family Next Door is about Isabelle, whose obsessive drive to solve a mystery causes her to suspect foul play from four neighboring households. Each of the show's six episodes is directed by Emma Freeman. Rounding out the cast of Isabelle's suspects are Ange (Bella Heathcote), Essie (Philippa Northeast), Lulu (Jane Harber), Fran (Ming-Zhu Hii) and Barbara (Catherine McClements). And rounding out the cast are Lucas (Bob Morley), Nigel (Daniel Henshall), Holly (Maria Angelico) and Ben (Táne Williams-Accra).

The release date for The Family Next Door on Acorn TV is February 23, 2026.
