Ted, created by and starring Seth MacFarlane in the titular role, is the story of a teddy bear who was brought to life by a child's wish, but who now possesses a foul mouth and very adult preferences and predilections. The Peacock series is a spinoff and prequel to the 2012 movie of the same name and its 2015 sequel. So, when can you expect the release date for the newest installment in the Ted franchise to arrive?

The Ted Season 2 release date is March 5, 2026 on Peacock. It's been a little over two years since the first season debuted on January 11, 2024. The second season will be comprised of eight episodes, all of which will debut for streaming on March 5, 2026. As you are no doubt already aware, there are plenty of TV and streaming show release dates for you to keep track of in the months to come. Here's the official trailer for Ted Season 2:

The Ted streaming series is set between the opening sequence and the main story of the original 2012 movie, in the early 90s. In the first episode of the series, Ted's behavior while his teenage best friend, John Bennett (Max Burkholder), is in school is so objectionable that he is subsequently forced to attend school alongside the teen. And if you think the live-action prequel series is the end of the Ted franchise, think again. Peacock currently has Ted: The Animated Series in the works, which will serve as a sequel to the two big-screen outings.

The release date for Ted Season 2 on Peacock is March 5, 2026.
