Ever since Suits became one of the biggest successes in Netflix history, breaking all sorts of streaming records as soon as it arrived on the platform, a revival was almost immediately in the works. However, when it became clear that the original cast wasn’t going to come back, there was still one solution available to its new network – a spin-off. Now we know when the Suits: L.A. release date will be.
The Suits spin-off stars Arrow’s Stephen Amell and The Walking Dead’s Josh McDermitt as a pair of lawyers in a firm that specializes in entertainment and criminal law. Suits: L.A. will debut on February 23, 2025 at 9 pm on NBC. This marks a big change for the franchise, which originally aired on the USA Network before it was added to the Netflix library and became a record-setting hit.
This isn’t the first Suits spin-off to hit the airwaves; Pearson, which followed Gina Torres’ character in a new city and aired at the same time as the final season of the original series. However, Pearson failed to gain an audience and was canceled after just one season. It was assumed that would be the end of the Suits franchise, but after the series proved a streaming hit NBC Universal fast-tracked the spin-off for an early 2025 release to capitalize on the surge in popularity.
Suits: L.A. will air on February 23, 2025 in the 9 pm timeslot on NBC. It stars Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg.
