You know we love Star Wars Visions, the animated anthology series on Disney+ that doesn’t just give animation studios around the world the chance to tell their own Star Wars stories, but reveals new ideas of what Star Wars can be. And, very soon, we’ll get to see even more of it, with the Star Wars Visions Volume 3 release date announced at Star Wars Celebration Japan: October 2025.

The new season of Star Wars Visions will also expand stories from the previous two seasons, with ‘The Duel,’ ‘The Village Bride,’ and ‘The Ninth Jedi’ all slated to continue in new installments, titled ‘The Duel: Payback,’ ‘The Lost Ones,’ and ‘The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope,’ respectively. The directors of those episodes, Takanobu Mizuno (The Duel), Hitoshi Haga (The Village Bride), and Naoyoshi Shiotani (The Ninth Jedi) all showed up on stage at the convention to tease the new season.

Other episodes announced during the presentation were:

  • ‘Yuko’s Treasure,’ directed by Masaki Tachibana
  • ‘The Smuggler,’ directed by Masahiko Otsuka
  • ‘The Bounty Hunters,’ directed by Junichi Yamamoto
  • ‘The Song of Four Wings,’ directed by Hiroyasu Kobayashi
  • ‘The Bird of Paradise,’ directed by Tadahiro Tady Toshihira
  • ‘Black,’ directed by Shinya Ohira
