The future of the final frontier is just over a month away, with Paramount+ revealing one final trailer for its upcoming movie, Star Trek: Section 31.
A spin-off from the recently completed Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Section 31 features Michelle Yeoh returning to the role of Phillips Georgiou, an anti-hero from the Mirror Universe who’s made a place for herself in the primary timeline of the Federation, Starfleet, and a number of other upright institutions and heroic figures. For the new project, however, she’ll find herself signing up for a tour of duty with a secret division inside Starfleet, doing dirty jobs to keep the United Federation of Planets looking squeaky clean. A mission filled with moral ambiguity from a character filled it herself? Sounds like a marriage made in heaven.
Yeoh co-stars in the feature with Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Robert Kazinsky, Humberly Gonzalez, and James Hiroyuki Liao. Take a look at the new trailer, which debuted at CCXP in Brazil Saturday, below:
Star Trek: Section 31 debuts January 24, 2025, on Paramount+.
