Solo Leveling season 2 release date: Jin-woo returns to find a cure in Arise From the Shadow

Season 2 of Solo Leveling will also feature an ending song by TK, best known for Tokyo Ghoul's Unravel.

Solo Leveling season 2 is just around the corner, folks. Crunchyroll has announced a release date for the next installment of the anime adaptation of the wildly popular manhwa and web novel. The season has been titled 'Arise From the Shadow,' referring to the place that our protagonist, Jinwoo, earned for himself last season.

The Solo Leveling season 2 release date is January 4, 2025 on Crunchyroll. The streaming service has released a trailer for this upcoming season, which you can watch below.

The Solo Leveling anime is based on the web novel series by Chugong. The series was later adapted into a webcomic, where it exploded into global popularity. It tells the story of a world where portals to another dimension leave humanity vulnerable to creatures from beyond all comprehension. In order to defend humanity against these creatures, a group of humans rise up to battle these monsters. A monster hunter named Sung Jin-woo transforms from one of humanity's weakest hunters into a force to be reckoned with, all with the help of a mysterious entity known as the System.

The trailer for Solo Leveling season 2 - Arise From the Shadow features snippets from the season's intro and ending themes. The opening song is ReawakeR featuring Felix of Stray Kids by LiSA, whose work you may have heard in the Demon Slayer and Fate/Zero anime. The ending song is Un-Apex by TK, best known for the Tokyo Ghoul theme, Unravel.

What chapter is season 2 of Solo Leveling?

The first season of Solo Leveling adapted the first 45 chapters of the original manwha it is based on, and its been confirmed Solo Leveling season 2 will begin by adapting chapter 46 which begins the 'Red Gate' arc.

Will Sung Jin Woo become S rank in season 2?

If the Solo Leveling anime follows the source material, Jin Woo will become an S-Rank hunter early in Solo Leveling season 2. It takes a couple arcs for him to grow to be a great S-Rank hunter, however.
