I don't know about you, but I love a good side quest. Those side quests in Baldur's Gate 3 and Final Fantasy XVI kept me busy for hours outside the main quest. And now, Mythic Quest on Apple TV has the same idea with its new spinoff show, Side Quest.

Side Quest will be released on Apple TV+ on March 26, 2025. The streamer describes the show as an exploration into "the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the [Mythic Quest] game in an anthology format." Given how all of the seasons of Mythic Quest have mostly focused on the workplace culture at the company, it will be refreshing to see how the game lives on in the lives of people beyond the company's walls.

Episode 1 of Side Quest will feature Esai Morales and Annamarie Kasper, while episode 2 stars Shalita Grant, Ramon Reed, Bria Henderson, Leonard Robinson, and Rome Flynn. Drunk History fans are in for a treat with episode 3 of the show because Derek Waters makes an appearance alongside Anna Konkle from PEN15. And episode 4 stars Van Crosby, Melanie Brook, Alice Wen, David Calvillo, and Justin Jarzombek. Of course, Rob McElhenney makes an appearance in the spinoff.

Side Quest's executive producers include Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, Katie McElhenney, and Megan Ganz, who have all worked on at least one of your favorite comedy series from this century. It's clear that Apple's burgeoning Mythic Quest universe is quickly becoming a hotbed for comedic talent today.

Side Quest will be released on Apple TV+ on March 26, 2025.
