Even in the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, danger can be lurking just around the corner. Such is the case in Rescue HI-Surf, a new action series from John Wells Production making its debut on Fox this autumn. Here’s what to know about the upcoming series, including when you’ll be able to visit Hawaii’s Seven Mile Miracle for yourself.

Originally titled Ke Nui Road, Rescue HI-Surf on the North Shore of O’ahu, a stretch of coastline renowned as one of the most beautiful and dangerous on the globe. In each episode, viewers will witness the heroic first-responders as they undertake thrilling rescues and navigate their personal and professional lives.

The first episode is written by Matt Kester, and the first two episodes are directed by John Wells. And if you find you’re a fan of the show, then good news: the show has been described as the starting point for a new franchise, so spin offs could be in the offing.

Are you interested in heading to O’ahu to see beautiful people undertake daring rescues in a beautiful environment? The series premiere of Resuce HI-Surf will debut on Fox on September 22, 2024 with a special preview episode. The next day, on September 23, 2024, the show will debut in its regular time slot. And if you’re more interested in streaming the show, episodes will be available the next day on Hulu.
