Dream Productions release date: Here's when Pixar's Inside Out TV series debuts on Disney+

Mark your calendar with the release date for Pixar Animation’s Dream Productions on Disney+.

Dream Productions is a mockumentary style show that is set between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2. The story is set inside Riley’s mind, where a studio makes dreams come true “each night, on time and on budget.” This is where Riley’s most complicated memories are sent to be processed. However, dream director Paula Persimmon (Paula Pell) finds herself stymied when she’s suddenly paired with daydream director Xeni (Richard Ayoade), who's looking to break into the big-time (i.e., night dreams).

The cast of the series will feature several actors reprising the roles they played on the big screen. Included in the cast are:

  • Amy Poehler as Joy
  • Lewis Black as Anger
  • Phyllis Smith as Sadness
  • Kensington Tallman as Riley
  • Liza Lapira as Disgust
  • Tony Hale as Fear
  • Maya Rudolph
  • Ally Maki

So, when can you expect to take in the show for yourself? All four episodes of the limited Dream Productions series will arrive for streaming on Disney+ on December 11, 2024. Will you be enjoying the dreams when it arrives?
