One Piece season 2 finally gets an official release date in 2026 on Netflix
Netflix are taking us to the Grand Line in March 2026 and we can't wait to see it.

2026 is shaping up to be a big year for One Piece. Not only is the anime adjusting to its new release schedule starting in April 2026, but season two of the Netflix live-action One Piece series is coming in the same year. Up until now, the exact release date for One Piece season two has been left pretty vague, but now we finally know when the Straw Hats are setting sail for the Grand Line.
Earlier today, One Piece season two got an official release date of March 10, 2026. That is just a few weeks before the One Piece anime returns from its hiatus in April, so we’ll have a time when both live-action and anime adaptations will be airing. The announcement was accompanied by several photos of the cast in the snowy landscape of Drum Island. Earlier this month, we found out what each of the 13 episodes of One Piece will be called.
The announcement ends months – even years – of speculation by One Piece fans. Originally, the second season was given a 2025 release date, but that got changed earlier in the year. Then it was simply “2026” with many fans speculating that it would be in the first quarter of the year. That proved to be correct, as One Piece season two will arrive on Netflix on March 10, 2026.
Of course, that still leaves us questioning when season three will be coming. We’ve (unofficially) known for a while that season three has already been greenlit, with the official confirmation coming on One Piece Day 2025.
