Netflix has already renewed One Piece for season 3, based on what Vice Admiral Garp's actor Vincent Regan is saying
The comments at Vienna Comic Con in November suggest that season two of One Piece is coming late in 2025 and a third season might go into production soon.

The eyes of every One Piece fan are currently fixed on South Africa as the cast and crew of Netflix’s live-action series film their scenes for the second season. Nico Robin’s actress has already confirmed she has wrapped on the set and now it looks like Vice-Admerial Garp has finished filming season two – and is offering a couple of hints about what could be coming even after season two airs.
While at Vienna Comic-Con in late November, Vincent Regan was surprisingly frank about what was coming for One Piece season two, including when we might get to see it. “I’ve come back from South Africa now,” he said. “I’ve finished season two, everything [Vice-Admiral Garp] is doing for season two is finished, and now they are finishing in about a month. I think they’ll finish filming.”
The fact that they’re close to wrapping filming is definitely interesting, but Garp’s continued involvement is also a change from the source material. He doesn’t interact with Luffy or the Straw Hats at all until after the Skypiea Arc, so his scenes will probably focus on training Koby and Helmeppo, which was hinted at in season one.
That isn’t the only interesting tidbit that Regan dropped for us. He also theorized that we’d get to see season two of Netflix’s One Piece “before Christmas [2025]” which is a long window but seems to imply it will be in the latter half of the year – after Stranger Things and Wednesday have their time to shine on the streamer.
Finally, Regan suggested that Netflix isn't waiting long to put yet another season of One Piece into production. “I guess they’ll start filming season three pretty soon, and I think they are doing – I think it’s called the [Alabasta] story arc. I think it's going to take two seasons.” This is the closest we’ve gotten to confirmation that season three of One Piece is planned, though we’ve all but assumed that would be the case considering they’re ending season two with the Drum Island arc.
