The MCU's Vision show continues to build a rock-solid cast, with Mary McDonnell joining the fray.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, we don't yet know what McDonnell's role will be in the Disney+ show featuring Paul Bettany's android Avenger. But McDonnell is joining James Spader (reprising his role as Ultron), T'Nia Miller (Jocasta), Emily Hampshire (E.D.I.T.H.), and Faran Tahir (reprising his role as Raza from the first Iron Man movie).

Chances are you've seen McDonnell somewhere, if you haven't seen Battlestar Galactica. She played Stands With A Fist in Dances With Wolves, a performance that earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and she has appeared in films like Sneakers, Donnie Darko, Independence Day, and Scream 4. She's also had an illustrious TV career beyond Battlestar Galactica, with series like The Fall of the House of Usher, Fargo, and Grey's Anatomy.

The Vision show on Disney+ is led by showrunner Terry Matalas, who co-created and showran 12 Monkeys on Syfy, and has credits on shows like Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Nightflyers. Details about the show are scant, but the show will reportedly drop on Disney+ sometime in 2026.
