The time is nearly upon us, my fellow Fans Without Fear — Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 begins on Disney+ this March 24. We've already had a glimpse of Daredevil and Jessica Jones's team-up in a teaser trailer for the season, and it's safe to say that there is plenty to get hyped for. (I personally want to know what Dex is doing in that diner, ordering a milkshake.) Without much further ado, here's a quick rundown of all the details ahead in Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 on Disney+.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 - The Basics
- Release date: March 24 at 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern
- Platform: Disney+
- Number of episodes: 8
- Cast: Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. Additionally, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Tony Dalton also appear.
What happened at the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1?

So! Daredevil: Born Again season 1 ended on a particularly charged note. Bullseye went to shoot Wilson Fisk while he was dancing at a fancy ball, but Matt Murdock sensed it coming, and dove in front of Fisk, shielding him from the bullet. However, that meant that Matt himself got shot in the chest. Oh boy! Here's what we said about the season 1 finale at the time.
Season 1 also ended with Ms. Karen Page returning to The Big Apple to join Matt's crusade against Fisk.
Is the Punisher going to be in Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again?

It's not currently known if Jon Bernthal will be returning as The Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. However, considering that season 1 ended with Frank Castle busting out of the cell he was imprisoned in, and we do know that Bernthal will be reprising his Punisher role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day later this year, I would be surprised if no punishment happened in Daredevil: Born Again's sophomore season.
Is Elektra going to be in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

No, probably. We haven't seen Élodie Yung as Elektra since the end of Daredevil season 2, when a building fell on both her and Matt. However, as we know from Daredevil season 3, Matt obviously survived that. But Elektra didn't. So I wouldn't expect her back for Born Again season 2.
Will Muse be in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

It's not clear if Muse will be in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, but it's unlikely, considering that the guy got shot in the head at the end of season 1 by Heather Glenn.
Who will be the villain in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

Vincent D'Onofrio is reprising his role as Wilson Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. And so is Wilson Bethel, with his role of Bullseye. So between those two, we got our villain bases for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 covered. We should point out that D'Onofrio has already teased the central clash at the heart of the season: "It’s an intense season, and it’s an intense story in New York, and one of the main characters is New York City," he said in 2025. "New York is affected immensely by the second season. I mean the metaphor would be the city ignites, and not in a good way.”
How many episodes are in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will be 8 episodes long.
When does Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 begin?

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will begin on March 24, 2026, when episode 1 debuts. The first episode is directed by the duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson, who directed the first episode and final two episodes of Born Again season 1. So it's safe to say that we'll be in good hands.
Is Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 dropping all episodes at once?
Whether or not Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is being released weekly or in binge mode is currently an open question; it was believed that the season would be released weekly, following the model of the first season, but speculation about a binge drop has emerged online after a Disney+ press release didn't list episodes separately when running down March 2026 releases.
Is there a trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
Yes, the show has released a trailer in which things seem to continue to go wrong for Matt Murdock while Wilson Fisk gets some particularly violent exercise in the boxing ring, all to the sounds of 'Lithonia' by Childish Gambino. Take a look for yourself.
It should be noted that Marvel called this a "teaser trailer" for the season, suggesting a second trailer might drop before the season debuts March 24.
