One of the biggest anime hits of 2024 also happens to feature some of the biggest monsters, which doesn’t seem like a coincidence to us. Kaiju No. 8 burst onto the scene in Spring 2024 and quickly became one of the best superhero anime shows that we’ve seen, with Kafka’s mixture of extreme strength and silliness striking the perfect balance for fans. Our Kaiju No. 8 watch order can help you unravel the mystery behind the kaiju attacking humanity.

Because of the straightforward way that Kaiju No. 8 is shown, there isn’t any need to worry about trying to watch it in anything other than release order. Aside from a handful of flashbacks that tell the story of Kafka and Mina when they were children, the story is told in an entirely linear fashion.

Fans who have been looking forward to seeing what Production IG brings to the Kaiju No. 8 world weren’t disappointed and Crunchyroll made a special effort to get Western audiences on board with the show. Not only did they simulcast each episode at the same time as the Japanese broadcast, but they also had the English dub ready to stream as soon as the Japanese broadcast ended. Each episode of Kaiju No. 8 is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Is Kaiju No. 8 getting a second season?

To absolutely no one’s surprise, we’re going to get more Kaiju No. 8 anime in the future. The announcement of a sequel anime, probably a second season of Kaiju No. 8, was made public as soon as the first season had ended. There is currently no release date for it yet, but we definitely can’t wait.
