You can always count on Jamie Lee Curtis to give a solid performance. However, it looks like you can’t count on her to keep a secret. In a recent social media post, Jamie Lee Curtis, who has been a recurring guest star on The Bear, seemed to confirm that the upcoming fifth season would be the last. She’s just as confused as everyone else, because she thought we all already knew.

In a post on Instagram, Jamie Lee Curtis implied that The Bear Season 5 would be the last serving of the hit drama. “FINISHED STRONG!” she wrote alongside an image of her and co-star Abby Elliott. “Surrounded by an extraordinary crew and group of writers and producers and scene partners on the show that Chris Storer created, completing the story of this extraordinary family that we have all fallen in love with.”

That seems to be confirming that The Bear is ending after season 5, right? Well, Curtis has gone ahead and removed any ambiguity from her statement. Yes, she said that The Bear Season 5 is the show’s last season, but only because she thought that was already common knowledge. “But everybody’s confirmed the show is ending,” she said in a recent interview. “I don’t understand why that’s such a [big deal]. Unless I’m gonna get a call from all the people saying, ‘You just told [everyone],’ I think everybody understood that it was the last season of the show. If it isn’t, then I’ve completely blown it.”

Jamie Lee Curtis, we love you but, yeah. We think you might have completely blown it.

We still don’t have a release date for The Bear Season 5, but make sure you get your last orders in early.
