The penultimate chapter in the A Song of Fire and Ice prequel is about to arrive

House of the Dragon Season 3, the latest chapter in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga - and the penultimate season of this particular series - is scheduled to arrive for streaming on HBO Max soon. Based on the novels by George R.R. Martin, the onscreen franchise exploded onto the pop culture scene in 2011 with the Game of Thrones TV series. So, when can you expect the release date for House of the Dragon Season 3 on HBO Max to arrive?

The House of the Dragon Season 3 release date is June 2026 on HBO Max. A specific release date for the season premiere has yet to be announced. Still, the lines of loyalty are never as clearly drawn as they might seem when the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise goes to war, so fans will have to tune in to find out how the cookie crumbles.

The release date for House of the Dragon Season 3 on HBO Max is June 2026.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 may have wrapped on HBO Max, but with House of the Dragon season 3 coming just around the corner, it's always a great time to read up on all things Game of Thrones.
