Reservation extended: Hazbin Hotel has been renewed for a 3rd and 4th season

Great news for Hazbin Hotel fans…Vivienne Medrano announces that the show will be getting a season 3 AND a season 4!

Did somebody order a late checkout

If you’re enjoying your stay at Prime Video’s Hazbin Hotel, you’ll be pleased to know that you won’t have to checkout after season 2. Prime Video’s animated musical dramedy has more stories to tell. Hazbin showrunner Vivienne Medrano shared the exciting news during a Prime Video Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

“I was making the pilot for so long and I didn’t know what the future would be. I started to kind of really think about where the story would go and where I wanted it to end, and what the arcs were and everything. I kind of created a map. I didn’t know how many seasons that would equal to tell, but I have a map for exactly where the show ends, and how many stories can be put in that can be changed and altered.”

“It’s feeling more possible to tell that story because we’ve been greenlit for seasons 3 and 4,” Medrano announced. The room immediately erupted in loud cheers and applause.

According to Medrano, the news delighted her too. “It was unreal to find out how much. It wasn’t just season 3, it was season 3 and 4, which to me, it means a lot how much faith Amazon has in the show, and how much they’re supporting it, and I really appreciate that. I’m so thankful.”

Hazbin Hotel is currently streaming on Prime Video.
