Hazbin Hotel cast praise their fanbase's incredible (and somewhat misused) detective skills: "Go solve murders!"
They can sniff out who is playing Niffty in Hazbin Hotel season 1 based on a few social media posts. They can solve anything

Every fanbase out there goes hard, but the Hazbin Hotel fandom goes that extra mile. Not only are they likely to make season two just as wildly popular as season one, but they’re surprisingly good at sniffing out who is playing what part through a little detective work. So good that several of the Hazbin Hotel voice actors are wondering if their fans shouldn’t be out using their detective skills to fight crime.
True, it was said jokingly at the Hazbin Hotel panel at New York Comic Con 2025, but there is a grain of truth here. Niffty voice actor Kimiko Glenn said that fans had figured out who she was playing in the series before any sort of official announcement was made. “I did one convention before this whole thing kicked off, and I actually had like a handful of people come up to me and they were like, ‘I’m so excited that you’re Niffty.’ And I was like, ‘I didn’t even know it was announced. Was it announced?’”
“Oh, ya’ll are just sleuths,” added Christian Borle, the voice of Vox in the series. “Everybody knew.”
“People were, like, looking at Viv's follows,” said Joel Perez, the voice of Valentino.
“Yeah, they found my follows and my likes,” series creator Vivienne Medrano admitted. But she wasn’t about to take all the blame. “And then you started liking a bunch of Valentino.”
“I know. That was my bad,” said Perez. “That was my dumb ass.”
“I swear, I liked one random post of yours, Viv,” stressed Cherry Bomb’s voice actor, Krystina Alabado. “And the internet was like ‘Kristina Alabado liked Vivienne’s post!”
Finally, Alex Brightman, the voice of Sir Pinterest, said what we were all thinking at this point about the Hazbin Hotel fanbase. “You know what? All of you guys, all of you nerds, need to start solving murders and stop talking about like… this is insane. Like, it’s crazy! There’s all this like, we… you’re all so useful and look at you. You’re sitting here looking at us. Go solve murders.”
