Hazbin Hotel has some of the most intensely passionate fans on the planet, something that isn’t exactly lost on the cast of the series. While the actors have certainly had an impact on the fandom, it seems that Hazbin Hotel fans have also had an impression on the cast. They know exactly how to describe their fans and, having covered the show since it came back, we are inclined to agree with them.
When asked how they would describe Hazbin Hotel fans, the cast didn’t mince any words at the MCM London 2025 panel. When the presenter of the panel described Hazbin Hotel fans as “very sweet” and “extremely unhinged,” Blake Roman, who plays Angel Dust in the show, was quick to agree. “Yes, and that is precisely what we love because it mirrors the show. Like, I like to feel it mirrors us.” He gestured to the other panelists, Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn, and explained. “I feel like we’re sweet but have the capacity for being unhinged.”
“And horny,” Stephanie Beatriz added, adequately summing up the Hazbin Hotel fandom in full. Sweet, unhinged, and horny is easily the most concise – and accurate – way to describe a fan base that loves this show with such an adoring passion. The show itself leans into this through most of its first season and will likely continue to do so as the second season goes through its long development.
Hazbin Hotel, with all its sweet, unhinged, and horny fans, is currently in development at Amazon’s Prime Video, though no release date has been confirmed.
