Just in time for both spooky season and Goosebumps writer R.L. Stine's birthday, Disney has announced a season 2 of the anthology show entitled Goosebumps: The Vanishing. The 8 episode season will be released in January of 2025, and will adapt material from several of Stine's books, like Stay Out of the Basement, Welcome to Camp Nightmare, and The Haunted Car.
Of course, Goosebumps: The Vanishing wouldn't be an anthology series without a revolving cast. Here is who will be starring in the second season of the show on Disney+ and Hulu.
- David Schwimmer as Anthony Brewer
- Ana Ortiz as Jen
- Jayden Bartels as Cece
- Sam McCarthy as Devin
- Elijah M. Cooper as CJ
- Galilea La Salvia as Frankie
- Francesca Noel as Alex
- Stony Blyden as Trey
Bartels and McCarthy will play two twins spending the summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn with their divorced dad. Over the course of the summer, the twins unravel a mystery concerning four teens who disappeared in 1994. Schwimmer's character Anthony Brewer is a former botany professor who has since taken an interest in "science and mystery."
The first season of Goosebumps is streaming now on Disney+ and Hulu.
