What happens to Dropout after its core cast moves on? Sam Reich isn't worried
I guess if you spend your days worried that Brennan Lee Mulligan is going to trap you in another escape room like Sam Reich does, you have a different priority set than most

For a network called Dropout, the ex-CollegeHumor streaming service has some pretty successful alumni. Jacob Wysocki has entered the realm of the meme gods. Brennan Lee Mulligan is Critical Role's current GM. And there seems to be no shortage of cast members making queer podcast history over at Pretty Gay. So here's a question - what happens when these star students turn their tassels for the final time? in other words, what happens to Dropout when what we consider to be the Dropout cast moves along?
Sam Reich isn't worried about answering.
The Dropout CEO recently sat down for a chat with Polygon, during which the question of Dropout's every increasing star power was a topic of some importance.
"It doesn't worry me much," Reich admitted, "Maybe it should. I do think there is a way in which this happens very organically. I'm still doing this, and I started doing it when I was 21. That's when I was first hired by CollegeHumor. And the content has managed to grow up with us in a way that's very organic. We tend to appeal to both the young people who love comedy, and folks about the age we are."
Speaking of age, Reich points to the fact that, even now, there's a generation gap between core members of the cast, which speaks to it being able to expand in the future.
"I don't think that people are aware of there being much age disparity on stage," Reich boasted, "But there already is. Demi [Adejuyigbe] is meaningfully younger than us. Anna [Garcia] is even younger. And they fit right in. I mean, in my mind, there comes a point where just good comedy is good comedy and it's sort of ageless."
So what about Reich himself? Will he be, as he puts it, "doing Game Changer at the age of 60 or 70?"
"Right now, I can only say I rather hope so."
I don't know, Sam. It's that answer that might be the most worrisome of all.
