On May 24, 2023 over 460,000 viewers tuned in to watch The Flash series finale. However, the series star Grant Gustin was not one of them.
Gustin had no issues with the script or any production decisions. His hesitancy to watch the finale comes from his complicated emotions about saying goodbye to the long-running series.
“Listen, I think it’s hard for a fan or for an actor who’s been with something for so long to be completely satisfied with the way something can wrap up. It was bittersweet. And I haven’t seen it actually. I haven’t watched it yet. I’m sure I will at some point. I think it was bittersweet. It was time, but it was also bittersweet,” Grant Gustin says during a Flash spotlight panel at Space Con 2025.
In other words, he’ll get around to it eventually. After all, he’s the fastest man alive.
