Get your Whopper Summoning Jutsu on the ready as Burger King and Naruto tease an anime collaboration in 2025

We're still waiting for those 20th Anniversary Episodes of Naruto to be released, but at least we'll have something to eat while we wait.

The anime industry is growing – we know it and so do the people in charge of marketing for massive companies. Last year we saw McDonald’s do a weird take on a classic anime meme, but this year rival Burger King is resurrecting Naruto for a collaboration. It isn’t the new episodes of the Naruto anime that was meant to be released back in 2023, but it is something, right?

The details of the collaboration are still under wraps, but the announcement came with some new artwork of Naruto and Sasuke chowing down on some Burger King. While we’re still waiting for the Boruto anime to come back or the long-awaited anniversary revival episodes of Naruto (the 20th Anniversary passed in 2023), this still shows the depth of Naruto’s presence in pop culture. Even outside of anime, he remains a popular figure who can sell just about anything, including burgers.

Sure, it would have made more sense for Burger King to collaborate with Dan Da Dan considering how they always eat after a successful mission, but it is always interesting to see how companies work with anime icons to reach new audiences. As anime becomes less niche and more mainstream, these kinds of collaborations are only going to become more common.

We’re hoping for something really wild and out there for the Burger King and Naruto collaboration coming up. If we’re really lucky, it will be timed to coincide with an announcement for the anniversary episodes, but we will have to wait until more details are released.

"In the ninja world, those who don't follow rules are trash." as Obita Uchiha once said. And while we can't say these are rules, they are the king things you'll want to read next about Naruto:
