Black Mirror season 7 release date: Netflix's sci-fi series returns with a dark look at the world of gaming
Fans have been awaiting season 7 of Netflix's Black Mirror for ages now. Now, the iconic sci-fi show will be back this spring

It's wild how much the world has changed since Black Mirror first began streaming on Netflix. Remember the first time you watched the "White Bear" episode from 2013? Or "The Entire History of You" with Toby Kebbell and Jodie Whittaker from 2011? I know, I want to scream into the void right now, too.
Anyways, season 7 of Black Mirror will be hitting Netflix on April 10, 2025. This season's cast is absolutely stacked. We're talking Rashida Jones, Issa Rae, Peter Capaldi, Awkwafina, Tracee Ellis Ross, Cristin Milioti, Chris O'Dowd, Will Poulter, and John Adams himself, Paul Giamatti. This season will include a sequel to the "USS Callister" episode from season 4, which is the first time that there's ever been a sequel to an episode of the show. You can check out a trailer for the season below.
Now, something we're left wondering after watching the trailer is if Will Poulter is playing the same character from the Black Mirror: Bandersnatch interactive film from 2018. In the trailer, we can see his character going on about needing "to create software that elevates us." Could he be talking about the next frontier in gaming? Whatever it is, it is probably going to end badly for all characters involved.
