Andor and Hit Man star Adria Arjona teases a "really beautiful" relationship in season 2 of the critically acclaimed Star Wars series

What is going on between Bix and Andor? Something beautiful, according to Adria Arjona

One of the most subtle pieces of the first season of Star Wars’ acclaimed series Andor was the journey of Bix Caleen, former lover of Cassian Andor and perhaps one of the few people who truly cared for him. At the Andor panel in Star Wars Celebration Japan, Adria Arjona — who plays Bix — teased what lies ahead in the show’s final season for the character… and suggested that there’s more to her relationship with Andor than either character might have still believed.

“When we first meet her in season 2, she’s left her home. I really believe that Bix is the most Ferrixian woman there is, and she’s away from home and kind of really trying to reconstruct herself. What that means for her and how she’s going to cope with everything that happened with Doctor Gorst is… very interesting, and then you get to kind of get a sneak peek into this beautiful relationship that starts forming.”

Beautiful relationship? Well, rest assured that Arjona isn’t talking about Bix and Imperial officer Gorst. She was actually teasing that the second Andor season is going to answer some questions people had about what she and Cassian actually mean to each other after everything that’s happened.

“In season 1, everybody was like, ‘what are you guys, are you guys together?’” she told the crowd. “I think this season, you’ll really get to see these two characters come together, which is really beautiful, and probably one of my favorite parts.”

Andor season 2 begins April 22 on Disney+.
