The full schedule for NYCC 2025 Day 0: Retailer Day, for all comics pros

NYCC '25 isn't just for the fans - it's for everybody in the business of comics. And if that's you; here's what you can expect from October 8, AKA Retailer Day

In a matter of hours  (as of this writing), fans from around the world will descend upon New York Comic Con 2025 for the Northeast's premiere pop culture event. Some of those fans will be cosplayers, some collectors, but for a whole swath of them, the biggest reason to attend NYCC will be to interact with other people in the comics industry. Yes, as much as NYCC is a home for comics fans, it's also a home for the folks who keep the business of comics running.

To celebrate those people, NYCC is once again hosting Retailer Day, a special event open one day before the con opens to the public where comic book business people can gather, trade secrets, and make connections. If that sounds like you, then you're in luck - Popverse has put together this New York Comic Con Retailer Day 2025 guide to explain everything that's going on on the day we salute those who keep comics running.

NYCC Retailer Day '25: Badge Pickup

Before we get started - the first (and arguably most important) thing you're going to be doing on Retailer Day this year is picking up your pro badge. Badges will be available starting at 8AM and running until 7PM, and can be picked up at Will Call in The Crystal Palace - specifically, at the 34th Street entrance. ANy Industry Badge you pick up - such as Artist Alley, Writers Block, Pro Thursday, Pro 4-Day, Press, Content Creator, Exhibitor, Panelist and Sidekick - will grant you access to Retailer Day.

But please note: In order to pickup a badge, you must bring a valid photo ID.

And finally, once you've greased all those hands and shaken all those elbows (is that how it goes?), comic retailers attending New York Comic Con 2025 are invited to the Comics Industry Mixer presented by Comic Sketch Art, which will be held at the River Pavilion inside the Javits near the 34th street entrance, 4th floor, on Thursday October 9. Come from 8 to 10 PM for a night of drinks, food, and swag (while supplies last), as well as keynote speeches from some of the industry's biggest shakers and movers, listed here:
